Choose your connection
MEX Exchange can be reached over several networks. Choose the route that matches connectivity your firm already has. Onboarding confirms availability, lead time and any network charges for your location.

| Direct | A dedicated connection to MEX Exchange, by cross-connect or private line. | Firms with their own infrastructure near the venue, or with the strictest latency requirements. |
Whichever route you choose, the FIX sessions, message formats, credentials and certification process are identical. Only the network path differs.
Routes compared
Latency, provisioning time and cost depend on where your infrastructure is and what you already have in place, so they are confirmed per firm during onboarding rather than published here. As a rule, a route you already use is the fastest to bring live, and a direct connection gives the most predictable latency.

- The route you intend to use, and whether that connectivity already exists
- The role or roles you will connect in: taker, maker or both
- The interface: FIX API, trading UI, or both
- Technical and business contacts for connectivity, certification and support
